Clee Hill Plant, the largest independent compaction and surface dressing hire company in the UK, has placed its largest ever order for equipment with BOMAG GB. The £5 m order is for over 130 machines across BOMAG’s wide range and includes light, medium and heavy tandem rollers, trench rollers, medium and heavy self-propelled rollers and pneumatic-tyred rollers.
Commenting on the order David Hargreaves, Clee Hill’s Managing Director, said: “I’m delighted to confirm our largest ever order for equipment. With demand for equipment on the increase we’re investing for the future. Our customers want to operate the latest fuel efficient and most productive machines and this order, with BOMAG, ensures that we’ll have a range of machines available for short and long-term hire across the UK. We have owned BOMAG machines for many years and they tick all the boxes. They are safe, durable and reliable, they have high customer acceptance and the numbers stack-up.”
All of the machines will be built to the latest European Stage 3B or 4 emissions regulations, depending on the machine’s engine power. The first deliveries have already been made by BOMAG.
BOMAG GB Managing Director, Alan Batty, added: “This order shows Clee Hill’s confidence in the state of the market and in BOMAG machines and aftermarket support. The machines are being delivered to an agreed schedule and many are already at work.”
